CLAN House up for sale

The home of the cancer support charity CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen and North), an impressive former church in Aberdeen, has gone on the open market through Knight Frank.

The property comprises the former Rosemount Church and Hall situated on a prominent island site off Caroline Place, Aberdeen. The site includes a granite listed category C building and hall which are currently known as CLAN House and CLAN Haven.

The buildings are currently owned by CLAN, however, the charity is relocating to new purpose built premises in Westburn Road in Summer 2011, so the site is no longer required.

CLAN House and CLAN Haven offer a total of 13,537 sq ft of space with many of the original church features retained including extensive timber panelling, vaulted ceilings and stained glass panelling.

The accommodation is provided over two stories with a large reception area, various private offices, a kitchen and treatment rooms of varying sizes on the ground floor. The first floor features a large meeting room and library while there is also a basement level. The CLAN Haven building is linked to the former church and provides 16 bedrooms together with a kitchen, dining room and lounge.

The site has access from both Rosemount Terrace and Caroline Place and includes car parking for 16 vehicles. An attractive landscaped garden area lies to the south of the site.

As a reminder of our history, we will be taking some of the internal features with us.”
