  • What is the CLAN Walk and when is it? The CLAN Walk is a sponsored walk & fun day. Details for the 2020 event will be announced soon.
  • Who can take part in the CLAN Walk? Everyone! You’re all welcome to join us at the CLAN Walk
  • How can I register for the CLAN Walk? You can register online by visiting our event page or you can drop into CLAN House to register in person.
  • Can I speak to someone about the CLAN Walk? Yes, we’d love to speak to you! You can contact the Fundraising Team on 01224 647000 or email fundraising@clanhouse.org.
  • Is there an age limit? Details of the 2020 event to be released soon.
  • I’m a slow walker, can I take part? Of course, the sponsored walk isn’t a race and we welcome walkers of all capabilities.
  • Can we take part as a team? Yes, the more the merrier! If you’re unsure please contact us on fundraising@clanhouse.org.
  • Can I change which route I would like to do? Yes, please contact the Fundraising Team on 01224 647000 or email fundraising@clanhouse.org.
  • What time do I need to register? Details of the 2020 event to be released soon.
  • What time does my walk start? Details of the 2020 event to be released soon..
  • Is there a walker pack and if so, what’s in it and when will I get it? Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us which contains all the information you need to know. On the day you’ll receive your walker pack which contains your walker number and event programme as well as your event t-shirt.
  • How do I raise sponsorship? We’ll send you a personalised sponsor form and advice on how to set up an online giving page. We suggest you ask your family and friends to sponsor you for taking part in this challenge. If you’d like to do more fundraising you can check out our Fundraising Hints and Tips.
  • Is there a minimum sponsorship? We have set suggested targets for each route: Banchory Big One we suggest £70, which could provide a one to one counselling session and a visit to our trained wig fitting and hair dressing salon. Milton Mini we suggest £50, which could provide breakfast for two days for our guests staying at CLAN Haven. Or why not set yourself a bigger team target and help CLAN to achieve something amazing, like paying for a day?
  • How do I get to the CLAN Walk? Details of the 2020 event to be released soon.
  • Is there car parking? Details of the 2020 event to be released soon.
  • Are dogs allowed? Yes, your four legged friends are welcome to join you in the Event Village and along the route. We do ask however that all dogs are kept on a short leash and that you bring bags to clean up after your dog.
  • What do I do with my sponsor money? Sponsor money can either be dropped off at registration on the day, or can be brought into CLAN House or any other CLAN centre after the event. All sponsorship money should be with CLAN by Friday 27th September.
  • Can I volunteer at the CLAN Walk? Yes, events like this don't run themselves so volunteer help is most welcome. Please conact the fundraising team to register fundraising@clanhouse.org.
  • What if the weather’s not great? If it is raining, the sponsored walk will still go ahead however some of the fun day activities may not be able to run as planned. In extreme weather, the event may need to be postponed or cancelled. Our website and social media will be able to give you any relevant updates should this occur.
