Supporting people living with cancer

We help people live with and beyond their or their loved one's cancer diagnosis and improve the quality of life for all those who turn to us for support.

CLAN Cancer Support is a well-established, local charity providing emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer, their family, carers and friends.

Our services are freely offered to all from pre-diagnosis and diagnosis through treatment and beyond at support and wellbeing centres located across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland

A message from our Chief Executive, Dr Colette Backwell

The outbreak of Coronavirus is one of the most challenging situations that we have faced in recent history. We are continuing to provide vital cancer support services to our clients by telephone and through the creation of new online content. The CLAN Haven, our bed and breakfast facility for those attending Aberdeen Royal Infirmary appointments, will remain open as long as possible to ensure those undergoing treatments are supported. But we can't support them without you, please watch and share our message. Please give what you can to help CLAN continue to support people affected by cancer during this time Thank you.
