CLAN House has a library which is open from 10am - 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday, until 7pm on Thursdays and on Saturdays from 10am - 1pm.
The decor and surroundings create a pleasant, relaxing environment and visitors are encouraged to browse through our stock. We have a selection of booklets and leaflets, books, audio materials and videos relating to cancer and the services offered at CLAN. There is also a computer that can be used to find information on the internet, with a helping hand available should you need it.

Booklets CLAN House carries an extensive range of Macmillan/Cancerbackup booklets. These include information such as specific cancers (e.g. lung, breast) and general information (e.g. diet and hair loss). We also have a range of booklets and information published by local and national self-help groups and cancer care organisations (e.g. Macmillan, Breast Cancer Care, etc.). The Macmillan/Cancerbackup booklets are also available online. Please see the links page for more details about these and other sources of information. Cancer Information Project - http://www.cancerservices.info The Cancer Information Project website provides accessible information about services available in local areas for anyone affected by cancer. This includes details of local support groups as well as other services, e.g. health professionals, benefits and grants. Twenty areas throughout Grampian, Orkney and Shetland have been covered.
