CLAN Upper Deeside is recruiting members of the public to take part in a Tartan Trek which takes place on Saturday 22 May. Walkers can choose a 6k or 15k trek through varied scenery of the Balmoral estate. Tickets are now on sale for the CLAN fashion show, which will take place at CLAN House in Aberdeen on Tuesday 25 May. Volunteers who work at CLAN’s charity shops will model a range of casual, day, business and evening outfits, as well as footwear and jewellery. Read more ..... (February 2010) CLAN is hosting a ladies' lunch at the Hilton Treetops, Aberdeen, on Wednesday, 17 March. Ladies attending the event will be asked to dig that little bit deeper as all proceeds from the lunch will help to fund a volunteers' room in the charity’s new cancer support centre. Mini Raffle - Winner Announced
(December 2009) Constance Wood, from Aberdeen, has scooped a brand new Mini Cooper after her raffle ticket was selected from the thousands in a charity draw.
Aberdeen & District Rotary Clubs hosted the draw in Aberdeen's Bon Accord Centre on Christmas Eve, with Aberdeen Lord Provost Peter Stephen drawing the winning ticket. More than £69,000 worth of tickets were purchased, with monies raised being split between CLAN (Cancer Link Abedeen & North) and Aberdeen & District Rotary. CLAN Christmas Cracker raises £115,000.
