Our Holiday Home at Silver Ladies Leisure Park near Banchory is available for use by anyone affected by cancer whether as a patient, carer or family member.  You do not have to live in the NHS Grampian area to take advantage of this service.

The Holiday Home sleeps up to six people comfortably with lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms, shower room (with shower and toilet) and separate toilet.  It is fully equipped and connected to water, electricity, gas cylinders and mains drainage.  The Site Manager is available should there be any problems and he will replace gas cylinders.  The site has a small shop, laundry, recreation room, play areas and public telephone.

Located in Royal Deeside it was chosen by CLAN as an ideal holiday spot for those wishing to get away from it all and relax in the fresh country air.  For those wanting a more active holiday, there are plenty of options - fishing, golf, pony trekking, splendid walks, visiting the many castles in the area, sightseeing or shopping.

The bustling town of Banchory is only two miles from the site.  Here you can find tourist shops, supermarkets and restaurants.  The town of Stonehaven and the city of Aberdeen are each less than 20 miles away, giving you access to more facilities and activities.

Duvets and pillows are provided.  Linen is available if required although wherever possible we do ask that you bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases and towels.

We have a no-smoking and no pets policy.

Please note that due to the location of the site, a car will be essential.

The Holiday Home is available between April and October and we recommend that bookings are made as far in advance as possible.  To help us defray costs, CLAN asks for a minimum contribution of £25 per night payable at the time of booking.  A refund is available if you have to cancel your visit.
